About our radial reinforcement patches
The crown, the tread area that's in contact with the road, takes the direct hits from rocks, spillage and debris on haul roads and in loading areas. It's where most cuts and punctures happen.
Elk Valley radial reinforcement patches are shaped and sized for repairs in the tread area, helping a tire with crown damage get back to work instead of being scrapped early. Like all our patches, they're handcrafted with our bright-orange covering.
